How to Register your Child
Parents interested in securing a place at our school should contact school and make a mutually convenient appointment to look around. Older children will take you on a tour so that you can get a flavour of what is going on and you will have the opportunity to talk to the Head Teacher or a senior member of staff.

The school follows the Oxfordshire admission policy and procedures (CLICK HERE to view). Parents are advised that admission as an F2 child in our Foundation stage setting does not guarantee a place in F1 and beyond but in some circumstances is an advantage.
If your child is allocated a place at our school you will be invited to an evening workshop and the children will have the opportunity to visit his or her class in the term preceding admission.
Parents and children are asked to sign the Home School Partnership agreement form.

Transfer and Partnership
At Watlington Primary we realise the important role we play in preparing the path to school and have forged close links between local playgroups and our school. Parents are invited to a “welcome meeting” and the children are invited for two pre-school visits. We have been involved in the Guy Claxton, “Playing for Life” project and have developed a programme in school to ensure transition between classes and across key stages is seamless.
