Sickness: In the event that your child is unwell and not able to attend school we ask that you telephone the school before 8.45am on each of the days that your child has to remain away from school. It is important that we are aware of any absence early in the day as, any child not present at registration in their class needs to be accounted for. Your child’s safety is of paramount importance and, if they are not with us, we must be confident in the knowledge that are safe in your care. In the event that your child’s absence is unexplained we will have to record their absence as unauthorised.

Holiday: We would urge you not to take your child out of school during term time as this has a huge impact on your child’s progress as well as the rest of the children in their class. However, should you need to take your child out of school we require that you fill in a holiday authorisation form. The form is available from the school office or can be downloaded from this page and should be returned to the school office for authorisation by the Headteacher.
